Dissemination and engagement
Simplified communication model for dissemination of sustainability knowledge from a scientific stakeholder perspective (Roeder, I., Wang, W. M., & Muschard, B. (2017). This workpackage atribution is to assist in disseminating the results from all packages to industry and to the general public. The activities to be organized will take place on local, national and transnational levels and all partners of the project will be involved.
The tasks are:
T 7.1 Dissemination plan and timeline for different activities. Create a dissemination plan within the first quarter of 2019. The dissemination plan will include type, target groups and timeline for different activities. Tasks for each member of the team will be created and agreed at the kick-off meeting. The plan is focused on finding how to reach different audience groups. Discussion on dissemination will be held on project meetings giving high importance to sharing information and results from the project.
T 7.2 Design and implementation of a website. For the general audience a website will be created with a platform for giving information about the project and activities within the project will published there. The stakeholder will benefit from being part of the project and thus get to find out about all the achievements in the meetings held. A half-annual information letter will be published, after each physical meeting. Short videos with information about the research project to raise public awareness of the research questions and how they relate to the importance of circular economy, sustainable forestry, and the role of innovation.
T 7.3 Courses and seminars. 1-2 days long courses will be created and offered to all those who are working nowadays and interested in how to use wood in construction in the most sustainable way. In universities courses will be created for students and practitioners in Architecture, Construction, Wood Technology, all academic partners expressed their wish to get involved in this process. The courses will benefit from the input of a broad expertise in our our team. Courses will be jointly developed but held in different counties.
T 7.4. Dissemination of InFutUReWood findings. Compile findings and articles to the international scientific communities and to stakeholders and reports aiming to influence standardisation and protocols. For this purpose, it is planned to present InFutUReWood at various events, exhibitions and conferences during the project lifetime with contributions with oral presentations, posters, exhibition or leaflets. Articles, journal publications in both science journals and industry publications
