You might remember that some months ago we wrote about Ida and Sara visiting us at RISE Wood Building Technology in Skellefteå. They worked very hard this spring and presented their dissertation at Chalmers last week!
At RISE Wood Building Technology in Skellefteå we got a visit from Ida and Sara. For their dissertation they chose the same topic as our project. Coincidence!
The "Kayak House" is a reused wooden structure with several exposures, situated now in Lisö, south of Stockholm. The initial pavillion building has been exhibited at several places in Europe to promote the use of wood as an industrial and sustainable building...
We liked a lot reading about the Itakura construction method and though this project is a great source of inspiration
